LIQUID FACE LIFT
A liquid face lift, or V lift as it is sometime called, is a general term given to the non-surgical cosmetic procedure to lift areas of the face using injectable dermal fillers and collagen stimulators. It is an effective alternative to a surgical facelift and particularly useful where there is a loss of volume to the face that a surgical facelift alone won’t address. A liquid facelift may even combine Wrinkle Relaxing Injections (BOTOX) around the forehead, eyes and lower face.
As we age, our skin begins to sag as collagen, fat, muscle and even our bone diminishes. By injecting dermal fillers and / or collagen stimulators into key areas of the face, such as temples and cheekbones, this in turn fills, tightens and lifts the skin upwards. The treatment is intended to re-create the triangular shape of a youthful face where volume is found in the mid face.
A liquid facelift is commonly chosen as an effective overall treatment for the nasal labial fold and jowls where the effect of sagging skin accumulates to produce deep creases in the lower part of the face. Liquids facelifts are also effective on areas of facial volume loss through illness or considerable loss of body weight creating a skeletal or hollow appearance.
Karen Burgess BSC (hons) works with a wide range of FDA and CE Certified dermal fillers and collagen stimulators to treat each individual area of the face for the optimum face-lifting effect. As with all treatments, an in-depth consultation with Karen is required to discuss your concerns and expectations prior to any treatment being decided.
The treatment for a liquid facelift is much quicker and arguably safer than a surgical face lift with little downtime, but will not last as long. As an alternative solution to cosmetic surgery, a liquid facelift has many advantages, such as reduced downtime, lower initial costs and is considered a much less invasive procedure. A no obligation consultation with Karen will determine if a liquid facelift is a suitable option for you.
